Frequently Asked Questions and Program Policies
What Should My Lil’ Kicker Wear to Class?
Your Lil’ Kicker should dress comfortably in clothes that are easy to move around in. Shorts or track pants and a t-shirt. We suggest in the colder months to layer as the building gets cold, but they will warm up once they start moving around. Please note that we don’t use cleats on the indoor turf: flat soled shoes or tennis shoes work perfectly! Unfortunately, your Lil’ Kicker will not be able to participate in class if they are wearing cleats. For Jackrabbits, Big Feet, Micro and Skills Classes, we suggest Shin guards and Socks.
We have uniforms, t-shirts, and more, available for purchase at our pro-shop located inside Portland Indoor Soccer, but they are not mandatory.
What Should We Bring to Class?
Make sure to have those comfortable clothes, flat soled shoes, shin guards, socks and don’t forget a Water Bottle!
Transfer Policy:
Customers may transfer their child at any point in the session, provided there is space available in the desired class.
Make-Up Classes:
We will not reimburse or credit you for missed classes. We will, however, do our best to help schedule you a make-up class. Make-up classes can be scheduled at any of our facilities and are subject to available space. Make-ups do not carry over into the next session.
Registration:
Spaces in classes are not guaranteed without payment. Partway through the season, we will hold a priority registration for current customers to re-register for their current classes. At that time, should you desire to change classes for the next session, you may ask to be put on a wait-list and will be contacted just before registration opens up to the public, to let you know whether we were able to register you for your preferred class.
Parental Policy:
Parents are required to stay within the facility during their child’s class.
Trial Classes:
All first time trial classes are free of charge for customers NEW to the Lil’ Kickers program. Customers may only do trials in classes that have space available. You must call or email to set up a free trial class.
Discounts*:
Multiple Class Discounts: Participants who register for two or more classes per week, in the same session, will receive $35 off the second class if registered during the 1st half of the season or $17.50 off the second class if registered during the 2nd half of the season.
Sibling Discounts: Siblings are defined as children that reside in the same household and are under the care of the same parent/guardian. After one child is enrolled, the discount is $35 for siblings enrolled during the 1st half of the same session or $17.50 during the 2nd half of the same session.
*Discounts must be redeemed by phone or in-person when registering. They are not available online. Only one discount may be applied during registration.
Refunds and Credits:
Should you decide that you need to cancel your class for the remainder of the season, we have two options available:
Credit: We can issue a credit in full for the remaining classes to be used for a future season. Credits expire 1 year after being issued.
Refund: We can issue a refund check for the remaining classes. There is a $10 processing fee for a class refund, per child.
Bring a Friend Promotion:
Within the first few weeks of the season, we will hold our Bring-A-Friend Promotion for select classes with low enrollment. During this time, those customers that participate in the promotion will be able to bring friends for a free trial class. Should those friends be NEW customers and enroll for the remainder of the session, the referring customer will receive a $17.50 credit per new customer for a future session.
